Biography/History:

Born in 1919 Billmeyer, was Research Chemist, Polychemicals Depaprtment at E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., Inc. He was lecturer in high polymers at the University of Delaware.

Heindel was born in 1937 received his B.S. in 1959 and M.S. in 1961 from Lebanon Valley College. He received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry in 1963 from University of Delaware. He was an assistant and instructor, chemistry, at the University of Delaware from 1961-1962.

Typed manuscript consisting of 357 leaves, with annotations. Pagination on table of contents has been annotated to correspond to contents of 1957 book. Illustrations and graphs are inserted into the book's text, while in the manuscript these appear on separate, unnumbered pages. The name Ned Heindel is written on the title page.
