Stanley Morrison's essay (with caption title: The inventory of the Le Bé Foundry) is in English (p. 7-17). The transcription of the inventory (ms. in Archives nationales, Minutier central des notaires, étude LXV; L. 324) is in French (p. 18-28).
Fournier's priced inventory was made in connection with his purchase of the Le Bé firm in 1730. It is, however, essentially a transcript of an inventory made by Guillaume Le Bé II at the death of the firm's founder Guillaume Le Bé in 1598. Cf. p. 11.
