- Soprano Latonia Moore makes a sensational Met debut as Aida, the Ethiopian princess enslaved at the rival court of Egypt. She loves the warrior Radamès (Marcello Giordani), who is promised to Amneris (Stephanie Blythe), the priness of Egypt.
