- Summary:
- Snarky Puppy takes the stage at the Baloise Session music festival for an exhilarating and vibrant concert! Formed in 2004, Snarky Puppy is an American collective of over twenty musicians, led by bassist and composer Michael League, who have enjoyed resounding success since 2010. Their energetic and highly rhythmic blend of jazz, funk, rock, and world music makes for explosive performances, as demonstrated here on stage in Basel. From the first few bars, the musicians overflow with energy and captivate the audience with catchy rhythms and recurrent motifs. More than just a concert, the band offers a celebration of musical cooperation, showcasing dynamic improv skills and reminding us of the power of the collective in modern jazz.
