Summary:

Get lost in the groove with the inimitable Nate Smith, a veritable virtuoso on the drums! Noticed at age twenty by jazz legend Betty Carter, who invited him to join her onstage at the storied Blue Note in New York, he embarked on a career that has been as eclectic as it is brilliant. A producer and composer in addition to his drumming expertise, Smith has gone from one remarkable project to another, collaborating with all the biggest names in jazz, including the already mythical group Fearless Flyers with guitarists Cory Wong and Mark Lettieri and bassist Joe Dart, and established himself over the decades as one of the most in-demand artists in his field. Don't miss his thriling performance at the 2025 Montreal International Jazz Festival alongside singer Lalah Hathaway, pianist James Francies, and bassist Derrick Hodge, with an electric energy and explosive rhythms that make for an unforgettable evening!
