Summary:

At Jazz en Téte 2025, Theo Croker⁰́₄a brilliant trumpeter and astute composer⁰́₄presents Dream Manifest, a project that blends contemporary jazz, hip-hop, soul, and electronic music in a resolutely modern aesthetic. The grandson of the legendary Doc Cheatham showcases his trumpet playing⁰́₄often lyrical, often incisive⁰́₄in a tight collective performance. Accompanied by Idris Frederic on keyboard and piano, Eric Wheeler on double bass, and Jon Onabowu on drums, he delivers immersive music carried by deep grooves. Between rhythmic intensity, introspective moments, and remarkable improvisations, the concert reveals a creative, dynamic jazz style that is firmly rooted in its time, offering the audience an electrifying experience!
