- Provides background on FCC Internet regulation under the Communications Act. Reviews FCC Open Internet Order, which required broadband Internet service providers to disclose their network traffic management policies and prohibited them from blocking any lawful content from traveling over their networks. Examines D.C. Court of Appeals ruling in Verizon volume FCC , which held that FCC had authority to issue rules but struck down antiblocking and anti-discrimination rules because they violated the Communications Act of 1934.
