[electronic resource] : This report is particularly referred to by Earl Mansfield, in his speech in the House of Peers, on Wednesday February 4, 1784, as giving at one view the most clear and distinct idea of the present situation of this country, with regard to its public revenues, and the real state of its finances; and containing matter highly interesting to every individual of the community who is possessed of landed or funded property.
