- In order to ensure equity in research and education, it is necessary to increase accessibility and inclusion within the process of conducting research and presenting research findings. In this case study, we provide background information on crip methods as an accessibly designed research methodology. Then, we explain one research endeavor, a conference presentation, that was designed using crip methods as an accessible approach. The described research activities supported conference presenters, attendees, and researchers with and without disabilities. Readers will learn practical examples of how to incorporate accessibility strategies when preparing, executing, and presenting research, service, and teaching in PK12 and higher education.
