Summary:
This case study describes an ongoing multisite online study focusing on the social, psychological, and academic impact of COVID-19 on ethnically diverse undergraduate students. We briefly discuss the research context as well as how the research study was designed and implemented. Challenges and benefits of conducting an online multisite research study as well as insights and strategies to navigate the complexities of conducting an online research study across multiple sites and locations are provided. Practical lessons learned from our study include the critical need to build and maintain collaborative relationships across different campuses as well as adapting to a fully online modality due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
