Summary:
Projects analysing social media texts need a method to identify a relevant sample to analyse. A hashtag campaign project, for example, might analyse all tweets containing the hashtag in question (e.g., #TransLivesMatter), and an investigation of a group of people/organisations might investigate all posts from or to them (e.g., all Nigerian politicians’ tweets).
