Summary:
This book presents the papers from the 19th Workshop on Information Optics (WIO), which took place June 30 – July 4, 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. For over 30 years, the workshop has been a forum in information optics and photonics. WIO 2025 addresses advances in information optics, information photonics, imaging sciences and engineering, display technologies and 3D displays, 3D image sensing, image-based information security, image recognition, biophotonics, novel image sensors, quantum information science and technology, and more. The forum provides close interaction, collaboration, and networking among prominent scientists and educational outreach to students. The workshop consists of oral presentations by prominent scientists. The first meeting was held as Euro-American Workshop in La Rochelle in 1994. Subsequent workshops were held in Colmar (1999), Valencia (2001), Toledo (2006), Reykjavik (2007), Annecy (2008), Paris (2009), Helsinki (2010), Benicasim (2011), Quebec (2012), Tenerife (2013), Neuchatel (2014), Kyoto (2015), Barcelona (2016), Interlaken (2017), Quebec City (2018), and Stockholm (2019).
