- "《册府元龟》是北宋四大部书之一，其宋刻本至今已无完帙。中国国家图书馆所藏总计三部，一部为十一册，一部四册，一部一册。十一册者即此次出版所本，存二十五卷，原书装帧形式为蝴蝶装，后有部分被改为线装。此本原为宋代监本，宋亡入元，成为元国子监崇文阁藏书，明初入晋王府。后为傅氏藏园、潘氏宝礼堂、周叔弢、袁克文等人分藏，最后在国家图书馆聚合" - Publisher's notes
