Leicester House, November 1, 1784 : whereas, by an act passed in the last session of Parliament, intituled, "An act for enabling Sir Ashton Lever to dispose of his museum, as now exhibited at Leicester-House, by way of chance" : the tenor of which act is, that Sir Ashton shall have 36,000 tickets ... and that the whole of the museum, as now exhibited, shall constitute one prize only ... in the state lottery for the year 1785.
