Particular account of the late, dreadful earthquake at Lisbon : with the damage sustained by that fatal accident : in a letter from a gentleman of undoubted veracity residing in Lisbon, to a merchant in London, who publishes this early account from a principle of benevolence, to satisfy the curiosity of the public : to which is added an account of the terrible earthquake at Port-Royal in Jamaica, in the year 1692 by a minister then resident on the spot : as also some thoughts on earthquakes, considered both in a philosophical and religious view : in this piece is included the substance of a letter from the Nuncio of Lisbon, to the Nuncio of Madrid, most pathetically dated, "From the place which once was Lisbon!".
