Bibliotheca selecta, or, A catalogue of the library and MSS. of N.N. deceased, and other books lately imported : consisting of a large collection of books, relating to the history of most foreign nations, and the antiquities of several of their principalities and provinces, of architecture, sculpture, painting, divinity, trade, husbandry, and classicks in usum Delphini, of the Paris edition, and the scarce Variorums : in Greek, Latin, Italian, Spanish, French, and English, &c. : with many curious mss., relating to the history, &c. of Great-Britain, and other matters, several upon vellum, and illuminated, many bound in Moroco leather, with the royal arms upon the cover, amongst others, Josephus de Bello Judaico, large folio, with miniatures of an incomparable beauty. N. B. : this ms. belonged formerly to the family of Croy, in Flanders : which will begin to be sold cheap ... at the shop of J. Groenewegen, and A. vander Hoeck, booksellers, at the sign of Horace's Head, the third door from the corner at Catherine-Street in the Strand, on Monday the 1st of April, 1723, at nine in the morning : the books and mss. may be viewed 3 days before the sale : catalogues may be had, gratis, at White's Chocolate-House in St. James's-Street, the British Coffee-House, Charing-cross, Will's Tom's, and Burton's in Covent-Garden, as also at Mr. King's, Westminster-Hall.
