Lessees of the Manor of Holy Island, in the country of Durham, held under the Crown, having been at a considerable expence in erecting palls for the better mooring and security of the vessels in the harbour there, do give this public notice, that they demand the sum of one shilling and sixpence, for every ship of whatsoever burthen which rides or floats in the harbour, or in the place called the Ooze, and that for the purpose of collecting the said sum of one shilling and sixpence from every such ship or vessel, they have appointed William Anderson and Thomas Anderson their agents and bailiffs.
