Double instrument of protest taken be Mr. Alexander Sutherland for himself, and in name and behalf of his brethren now prisoners in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh, against the four present Baillies of Edinburgh, together with the lybell given in be the Procurator Fiscal in May 1700, and their defences given unto the same, unto which is subjoyned a double of the saids Baillies warrand for their incarceration at Edinburgh the 15 day of September 1701 years, and of His Majesties reign the 13th year.
