Except for the seasonal illustrations at their heads, the calendar pages are identical in content and typography with those in Bailey's Rittenhouse almanac for 1821, printed at Philadelphia by Lydia R. Bailey, which names Joshua Sharp as its calculator. In Bailey's, sententious prose matter occupies the place of the engravings.
