Wood-engraved illustrations variously signed "Howland," "Fuller sc." (i.e., Sarah E. Fuller?), and "N.Y. Sch.of Design."
The Tract Association of Friends does not appear in New York directories. Another issue of this title was published by Samuel S. & William Wood, who published in New York between 1836 and 1862, and occasionally printed material for the Tract Association of Friends. One wood engraving signed by the New York School of Design, which was established in 1852.
