Despatches from William Reid, governor of Bermuda (August to December 1841) together with letters from 'offices' (Government departments and other organisations) and individuals on matters related to Bermuda sent during the year. Despatches are described at item level. CO 37/106/1. Forwards two letters written to him by Agent Victualler Triscott complaining about the reference made to the Victualling Department in despatch No 9 of 24 March. Reports that Mr Triscott's conduct on the occasion was disrespectful. No. 34, folios 3-18. 01/08/1841. CO 37/106/2. Forwards journals of the Legislative and Privy Councils and House of Assembly as well as eleven Acts of the Legislature [not included in volume]. Encloses a report on the Acts by Attorney General John Harvey Darrell.
