Scottish Missionary Society: will send statement of distribution of 1838 grant; sends statement; seeks grant of £800; seeks payment of £800 granted; requests answer to letter respecting grant; thanks for grant of £800; asks if submission of statement in three weeks will be acceptable; amount of grant sought; mode of applying grant. Treasury: expenditure of the trustees of the Mico Charity; has directed payment of £700 to the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel; appropriation of Manzanilla Fund; directions for issue of £17,000 given; £1,060 issued to Moravian Society; £700 issued to Ladies Society and £2,250 to Church Missionary Society; will pay £1,200 to Wesleyan Missionary Society; will pay £800 to Scottish Missionary Society; has directed £700 to be paid to Society for the Propagation of the Gospel from the 1840 vote; has paid sums apportioned to certain societies as directed; has issued £7,000 to Society for the Propagation of the Gospel; has paid £1,200 to the Wesleyan Missionary Society; will pay £900 to Moravian Missionary Society.
