Maclai[...]") at head of title leaf, damaged by cropping at head and fore-edge margins. Early manuscript contents list on front free endpaper. Modern manuscript bibliographical notes in pencil on title leaf. Bookseller's description of this copy laid in. Binding: full early blind-tooled leather; 4 raised bands on spine; all edges stippled red. Leaves closely cropped at head edge with occasional damage to running title and minor loss of ruled border on title leaf. Leaves cropped and dampstained; wormhole in head outer corner of leaves.
