Description: This series consists of 42 pieces of personal correspondence from Corporal Louis "Lou" Rogosa, to his parents, Samuel and Fannie Rogosa, Lynn, Massachusetts. The correspondence begins when Rogosa is training at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, in October 1942. In November 1942, he is transferred to Huntsville Arsenal, Alabama, and remains there until September 1943. The correspondence ends with Rogosa traveling and sending postcards from New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Memphis, Tennessee; St. Louis, Missouri; Akron, Ohio; and Detroit, Michigan, while on his way to New York.;Personal correspondence from the four sons of Samuel and Fannie Rogosa, three of whom were in the Armed Forces.
