LeRoy complains to his mother that he hasn't received any letters from her in two weeks and asks if she is mad at him. Says other soldiers are receiving letters. Upset that he missed Harold's visit home. Asked his mother if she dug a garden for his wife Helen, noting that Helen would not be able to dig it herself.
