Description: Letter from LeRoy Moyer, unknown location, to Oswin Moyer, Wescosville, Pennsylvania. This letter only consists of the second page. Censors cut out two words. LeRoy tells his parents that "the censorship has been lifted so that we can write a little about our trip." He participated in an operation on the Philippines "and I never so so many ships in one spot before and the bombardment was terrific." Unloaded cargo ashore. Hopes war will end soon. Undated but he mentions receiving his parents' letter from 20th September 1945.
