Summary:
Description: A thatch-roofed hut made of bamboo. "The Filipino home, like ours in the states varies from the lowest and crudest type to some really quite magnificent structures. Not the best, by any means, but among the most picturesque and quaint are those made of bamboo and nipa thatches, of which this one is an excellent example. As small as this hut is, it may well hold a family of as many as eight to ten persons, including a few chickens or so. ".
