Description: Letter from Harold Schlegel, Camp Bowie, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Oswin Moyer, Wescoesville, Pennsylvania. Harold asks his in-laws how the weather is going up North. Glad there is no snow in Texas. Writes that some of the trees and bushes are already budding. Notes that some men are still being drafted into the army. Writes that his brother-in-law LeRoy, the Moyers' son, was involved in the invasion of the Philippines. Asks if Viola is losing weight. Hopes to get a furlough in a month or so.
