- Description: Letter from Harold and Viola Schlegel, Camp Bowie, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Oswin Moyer, Wescoesville, Pennsylvania. Harold tells the in-laws that he and Viola had a nice Christmas and hope the Moyers did too. Has had lots of rain in Texas. Says many of the men in his outfit have left for the front. Was told that he would be shipping out too but doesn't know where. Not sure when Viola plans to return to PA.
