Description: Letter from Harold Schlegel, Camp Bowie, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Oswin Moyer, Wescoesville, Pennsylvania. Harold informs his in-laws that he has suffered from the same stomach trouble again. Glad that Viola is feeling better but wants her to continue "doctoring." Viola sent him clippings about some of the men from his outfit at Camp Haan that were killed or wounded overseas. "I guess that's fate." Asks about the corn harvest. Hopes to get a furlough in the next month.
