Summary:
Description: Letter from Gordon Sill, Mindanao, Philippine Islands (APO 159), to his niece Gail Milholland, Edmonds, Washington. Gordon encloses one photograph of Filipino girl Lili Bernal. Says the people of Mindanao are not as friendly as Lili was. "We call the people here 'Gooks.' They're dirty as all get out and if more than a half dozen get together in a bunch they smell like a pig pen." Tells his niece that they have been moving around on the same beach and he is tired of pitching his tent in different places.
