Description: Letter from Roger K. Long, Chicago, Illinois to Lulu B. Rolston, the mother of Jack W. Rolston, Los Angeles, California. Long's return address is at the O'Reilly General Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, although the dateline for his letter is Chicago, Illinois. He was friends with Jack Rolston at the Army Specialized Training Program at Harvard University. Both also were in the 26th Division and recovered from wounds at the 111th General Hospital in Sutton-Coldfield, England at the same time. Asks after Rolston, but does not describe the nature of his own wounds.
