- Description: Letter written on toilet paper from Robin Corbett, Idaho Springs, Idaho, to Jack W. Rolston, Army Specialized Training Program, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Robin and Rolston were likely classmates at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. Writer of letter is inebriated and unable to find stationery, relates that he is staying in a hotel, has been inducted into Army Air Force (after having been discharged from the Navy), waiting to be given orders, running out of money, went with another man to Idaho to find work in the mines in the meantime, mines are closed. Medium is fragile, but in very good condition. Small scrap of sturdy paperboard, which the paper was originally wrapped around, is enclosed.
