Description: This series (1 folder) consists of letters and V-mails written by 11 different servicemen to Ruth Zonenshine, Brooklyn, New York. The 11 servicemen are Al Braverman, Samuel Brauen, Peter Busso, Harry Davidoff, Carl Himelewsky, Harold Pordy, Julius Rapps, Emmanuel Sussman, Hal Sussman, and David Zahler. The men were either in the United States Navy or Army. The majority of the letters were sent while the men were in basic training in the United States; however, Zahler was stationed in England. General Topics: weather; meals; daily life at camp; and entertainment.
