Description: Personal notebook of Crysler, lined notebook paper in black bindings. Includes Crysler's travelogue and then detailed story of service from Ft. Logan, Colorado to Universities of Illinois and Wisconsin to Tennessee Maneuvers to East Coast to USS Mariposa to England to Normandy through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany; after V-E Day returned to France and after war's end took furlough in United Kingdom, escorted POW to Paris and then boarded the SS Aiken Victory at Le Havre for journey back to the United States. Most probably written postwar.
