Description: This series consists of three letters and an empty envelope from Clarence Clark, who served in the 840th Engineer Aviation Battalion. C. Clark was Inez Clark's brother-in-law. Two of the letters are addressed to his nephew, Walter, and the remaining letter and envelope are addressed to Inez. In 1942, Clarence was in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and Bradley Field, Connecticut. He was still at Bradley Field in 1943 and was stationed in England in 1944.;Letters, postcards, and V-mails to Inez Clark and her youngest children from her three eldest sons and brother-in-law, who served in separate engineering battalions in the United States Army in the European Theater of Operations and the Pacific Theater of Operations. The collection is arranged into five series: I. Personal correspondence from Francis Clark, 1942-1945; II. Personal correspondence from Horace Clark, 1941-1945; III.
