Used during NTSch [Naval Training School] (Gunner's mates and Electric hydraulic school) at Navy Yard, Washington, D.C. and forwarded to Hendricks in Naval Training Detail in Shoemaker, California. Notebook is blank until page 30 where a loose Vargas pinup girl from Esquire magazine is inserted; handwritten, personal notes of Hendricks begin on page 94 and continue with illustrations and diagrams until page 122.
