Description: This series consists of 9 pieces of personal correspondence to Mrs. S. Wendell Brennecke, Walhalla, South Carolina, from members of the Armed Forces whose surnames fall in the range of G-K. The senders are: Lieutenant Harold Grant, who served with the 14th AAA Battalion and 16th AAA Battalion in the Pacific Theater of Operations; Technical Sergeant Frances E. Harden, who served in the Women’s Army Corps in the Pacific Theater of Operations; Sergeant Harry Hughes, who was stationed in Miami, Florida; Corporal Charles Humphries, who was stationed in Denver, Colorado; Lieutenant Julian Humphries, who was stationed at the hospital in Camp Blanding, Florida; Crawford King, who was stationed in the European Theater of Operations; and Master Sergeant Louis Delwin King, who served with the 63rd Medical Depot Company in the European Theater of Operations.;Letters, V-mails, and postcards sent to Mrs. S. Wendell Brennecke, Walhalla, South Carolina, from several members of the Armed Forces. The collection is arranged into three series: I. Personal correspondence, A-D, 1943-1945; II.
