Summary:
Description: Bild 22: Kraftradschutzen, Pict.22: Motorcycle Infantry. Motorcycle infantry are infantry mounted on commercial motorcycles with and without sidecars. Some of the sidecar motorcycles carry a machine gun. As single riders, the motorcycle infantrymen are the untiring order carriers and dispatch rider of all arms; as a discrete unit they form a highly mobile, well-armed troop. In surprise attacks, operations far beyond their own front or deep on the flanks and behind the enemy, closing gaps, they are in their element.
