Description: Bild 15: Flussubergang der Kavallerie, Pict.15: Cavalry River Crossing. Cavalrymen and horses of cavalry regiments are trained to negotiate water crossings without the help of the engineers. Troopers get into the rubber boats carried on the combat vehicles or on the horses and are easily inflated. Each pair of horses is led to either side of the boat and pulls it across the river, the troopers holding the reins.
