Description: Two B-29s are dropping bombs somewhere over Japan.Personal caption on reverse: "This is the picture I was telling you about Ed that I took from the tail - lot of bombs huh? They didn't turn out so hot." The B-29 with tail ID "V" is from the 499th Bomb Group. The other one with tail ID "T" and number 31 is probably Sentimental Journey from the 498th Bomb Group. Both B-29s are from the 73rd Bomb Wing stationed at Isley Field on Saipan. Somewhere over Japan.
