- Attached to the 3rd Army; Siegfried Switch Line, Saar River Crossing; Trice was a teletype operator for the 94th Signal Company. His company landed on Utah Beach a few weeks after the initial landing. One of his first major actions was with the Ardennes operation. He next gave a very vivid detail of crossing the Siegfried Line. He later also gave an emotional retelling of how his best friend died. He ended his service by spending a few months working occupation duty in Dusseldorf, Czechoslovakia.
