Description: This series consists of 12 documents pertaining to the honorable discharge of Maurice Goldstein, Second Lieutenant. Documents include a laminated wallet copy of Goldstein’s discharge certificate, his separation qualification record, application for allowance readjustment, reserve officer application, classification card, official copies of his discharge certificate dated 1946 and 1947, and a 1947 certificate recognizing his promotion in 1942.;Military documentation, discharge papers, and the personnel file from the service of Second Lieutenant Maurice Goldstein, who served as a Motor Transport Officer in the 159th Infantry Regiment, 106th Infantry Division in the European Theater of Operations. The collection is arranged into three series: I. Enlistment and service documents, 1940-1944; II. Discharge papers; and III. Personnel file, 1941-1946.
