Description: This series (2 folders) consists of letters, postcards, and greeting cards from Ensign Loreley Mobley, multiple locations, to his wife, Mrs. Beata Mobley, New York. During this time, Mobley wrote from over 10 different locations in the United States due to his duties in the Air Ferry Squadron One (VRF-1), based in Brooklyn, New York. Mrs. Mobley started the year in Bronx, New York, and ended it in Brooklyn, New York. Of note are the letters sent in mid-October regarding the birth of one of their first child, Beata Ann.
