Military journal, 'Life in the Service: Echoes of the Army', Joseph Tyler Giusta, US Army Air Corps. Includes enlistment record; handwritten Air Corps slogan; photographs of girlfriend 'Edie', father and dog 'Suki'; personal description in which trouser size has been marked out and replaced with 'Casket size'; last worked at the Silver Spring, Maryland fire department. Under section entitled 'Calendar of Events' Giusta recorded diary from Jun 13, 1943 to Jul 16, 1943 in which he discusses practice firing and having multiple airplane accidents/crashes.
