- Description: This series (5 folders) consists of letters between Constance Logsdon and her parents, William Logsdon and Constance Logsdon, Corsicana, Texas. The bulk of the series consists of letters written by Mr. and Mrs. Logsdon while Constance attended Bennett Junior College in New York, New York, and the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. Topics of conversation include travel, Corsicana gossip, and day-to-day routines. Constance’s parents often chastised her for not studying hard enough, focusing too much on boys, and weighing too much. Also included in the series are photographs of Constance.
