Description: This series (1 folder) consists of letters and a card from Charles "Jiggs" Rollins, Camp Beale, California, to his sister, Mrs. Grace Walz, Birmingham, Alabama. The letters were written when Rollins had just entered the Army as a Private and detail training with the 170th Combat Engineers. In some of the letters, Rollins also addresses Grace’s husband and daughter, Alfred and Marjorie.
