Description: This series (2 folders) consists of letters, V-mails, and a telegram from Jack Rollins, Pacific Theater of Operations, to his sister, Mrs. Grace Walz, Birmingham, Alabama. Rollins begins the year in Hawaii, but is transferred to Iwo Jima, Japan, by March. The last letter Rollins sent was when he was waiting to be discharged while stationed on Saipan. Once he arrived in Oakland, California, Rollins sent Grace a telegram.
