Description: Bild 30: Die Fahnen der Luftwaffe, Pict.30: The Colors of the Luftwaffe. Pursuant to the Fuhrer's order of 5 Oct 1935, the Luftwaffe, as well as the entire military, received standards. As with other branches, the background color of the standards indicates the branch of service. The color of the flying troops is gold-yellow, anti-aircraft artillery is bright red, air intelligence troops, gold-brown. Regiment Goring carries green standards for its battalions. In the middle of the standard, on one side is the national emblem, on the other side, the iron cross. The corners are decorated with swastikas.
