- Frank Ruben served in the 216th Armored Medical Battalion. He was born December 12, 1924 in Newport, Kentucky. He spent time at Camp Chaffee in training and at Fort Knox. He entered Le Havre after D-Day and stayed there for a few months before moving across France and into Germany. He spent time also in Czechoslovakia.
